The smell of gas

A smell has been added to gas to enable you to detect a gas leak. Gas is heavier
than air; so try to catch the smell just above the ground!
• Immediately close the gas valve on the gas bottle.
• Do not do anything that could lead to spark or fire to prevent ignition of the gas.
Do not switch electricity on or off, do not light a match, lighter, etc. and do not
use your phone.
• Take everyone away from the gas source and give the gas plenty of time to blow
away. Stay away during that process! If you continue to smell gas or if you do
not trust the situation, then alert the fire department.
• Have a gas leak repaired by qualified people!

to activate the thermocouple. Now you can release the control button.5.
5.Turn the control knob to the highest (high) position and let the patio heater burn
for 5 minutes. You can then turn the control knob to the desired power.
