The stopper cap must close the discharge tube and the volume setting system must
be set at zero-position! Never carry the dispenser by the finger guard, only by the
PTFE-valve block!
7. Before use, please check correct assembly of the dispenser with the bottle, that the
bottle is properly fitted and closed to full lock. This will be possible using standard glass
laboratory bottles with a standard thread (e.g. Schott bottles). By use of short neck
bottles, bottles or containers with a short thread, or other bottles where full tightening
of the bottle top dispenser onto the bottle cannot be achieved, the dispenser should be
screwed onto the bottle using an adaptor to ensure secure operation. Most adaptors are
readily available from our catalogue or can be supplied according to special requirements
on request. The stopper cap of the discharge tube must never obstruct the dosing
jet, in order to avoid dangerous splashing.
8. To guarantee trouble-free working please clean and use the dispenser according to
the operating manual.
9. Repairs if necessary must be carried out only by the manufacturer or authorized
service stations using original parts.

For safety reasons we recommend use of adaptors made of PTFE which are
available as an option. The models
adaptors made of PTFE.
11. To minimize contamination from the sapphire valve balls before dispensing of
hydrofluoric acid with the HF, we recommend discarding approx. 2 ml.
