6.5 Weighing system

In order to guarantee exact measuring results, place the bed on an even, horizontal ground.
For checking purposes, please use the circular level which is attached below the backrest.
To measure, bring the bed back to a horizontal position. We recommend the position using the
automatic CPR function („CPR" button of the acute care pack on the CareBoard
In doing so, please make sure that the bed is positioned freely in the room and that the com-
plete patient surface is not loaded or unloaded by external influences.
In the event of consecutive measurings, always bring the bed to an identical position in order
to avoid measuring inaccuracies.
Make sure that the bed stands in straight position before each weighing operation.
Check this if necessary with the circular level.
Initial calibration of the weighing system is performed in the factory. No recalibrati-
on is required for the intended application environments 3 and 5 (see chapter 2.3).
