1 Important recommendations
Before any interventions, ensure that the electrical power
is disconnected.
Do not use these hydraulic modules to carry drinking water
or food products.
For a proper operating of the boiler, follow carefully the
instructions.
Only a qualified professional may carry out work on the
installation. Abide by the prevailing legislation and the
recommendations in these instructions.
Keep this document close to the place where the tank is
installed.
Proceed with assembly after competing welding work, brazing and
rinsing the pipes to remove any impurities in the installation.
The diameter of the inlet pipes must be equal to or greater than the
diameter of the pump connection.
Install the pipes in such a way as to be able to fit the pump when the
power is switched off.
2 Assembly options
The EA 108 hydraulic unit can be fitted:
- either directly to the boiler outlet
- or with a storage tankn
The hydraulic unit is designed with the outlet to the right. It can be
converted by reversing the outlet and the return.
The hydraulic module is designed to be wall-hung with the circulator
to the left and the thermometers at the bottom. This disposition must
be respected to ensure the operation of the hydraulic unit.

Installation
If the pump is integrated into an installation in which the water
exceeds 90°C, the pipe material must be resistant to high
temperatures.
Install the pumps in such a way that all subsequent work (checking
or repair) can be done easily.
Fit gate valves upstream and downstream of the pump to avoid
having to drain the system when working on the circulator. Orientate
the valves in such a way that leaks from the stuffing boxes do not fall
onto the terminal box.
If using a heating installation with a free air expansion tank, install the
circulator on the return to the boiler immediately after the connection
of the expansion piping.
The motor shaft must always be positioned horizontally.
When fitting the pump to a horizontal pipe, degassing is 50% higher
than that of an installation with a vertical pipe.
Be careful not to damage the flat seal.
Only the pump body can be insulated.
The motor and the condensation flow openings must
remain clear.
