perature recorded is higher than 42.2 °C
(108 °F).
(2) Object temperature mode: The tempera-
ture recorded is higher than 80 °C (176 °F).

perature recorded is lower than 34 °C
(93.2 °F).
(2) Object temperature mode: The tem-
perature recorded is lower than -22 °C
(-7.6 °F).
The batteries are empty.
Solution
Wait until the forehead symbol stops flashing.
Room temperature must be between 10 °C and
40 °C (<50 °F, >104 °F).
Operate the thermometer only between the speci-
fied temperature ranges. In the event of a repeated
error message, contact your retailer or Customer
Services.
