The machine then continues to run at approx.
2' 4 00 rpm / UWC 7-R
1'700 rpm / UTC 7-R
and the elctronic constant-speed control is deacti-
vated. After a cool-down time of approx. 10-20 s the
machine is again ready for operation. Turn the machi-
ne OFF and back ON again to activate the electronic
constant-speed control. With the machine at operating
temperature the temperature-dependent overload pro-
tection reacts correspondingly earlier.
Undervoltage / restarting protection
On short time power failure (pulled power plug, insta-
ble power supply etc.) the machine will stop. When the
power voltage is restored, the machine has to be tur-
ned OFF and then back ON again. Once this has been
done the machine is again ready for operation.
Attention: Even if the cut-out is not activated, danger
of overloading always exists, thus operate the tool in a
sensible mode, in order not to increase unnecessarily
excessive current draw, which overheads the motor.
Speed selection
Select required speed with variable speed selector 17
for correct surface feet./M.O.S.

Cut-off wheels
When cutting, don't tilt grinder, otherwise it jams.
Grinding wheels
Best grinding results are achieved if grinder is at a 30
degree angle to the work piece.
• Never use a cut-off wheel for grinding.
• Do not treat any material containing asbestos.
• Disconnect tools when changing accessories,
such as wheels and discs.
• Lock spindle 2 with lock button 8.
Attention: only use lock button, when machine is
at a complete stop.
• Remove or mount flange nut 6 +/or 15.

Clean mounting set before installation.
• Check concentricity, use only vibration free tools
and always observe M.O.S. (Max.Operating.
Speed).
Maintenance
• Store tool in a clean, dry place.
• Disconnect tool when not in use and before servi-
cing.
• The ventilator openings for cool air must be kept
free and clean, use air gun to blow out dirt.
• Replace grease in grinder head every other time,
when carbon brushes are replaced. Use the
authorized service center nearest you.
• Damaged plugs and cords must be replaced
immediately.
• Repairs must only be done by a qualified/licensed
electrician, otherwise it could be hazardous to the
operator.
• Any replacement needed for the connecting line
must be installed by the manufacturer or its agent
if safety risks are to be eliminated.
• Warranty claims can only be considered, if tool is
returned complete.
