The differential pressure relief device is preset at works to an opening pressure of 200 mbar. Other opening
pressures between 50 mbar and 400 mbar – to be read off the scale – can be set at the handwheel.

The Regumat M3 and M3B DN 25 are additionally equipped
with a bypass with manual presetting at the three-way mixing
valve. When leaving the factory, the bypass is closed. (Slit of
the bypass stem turned by 90° towards the bypass channel,
position "off", see illustration.)
By turning the bypass stem by 90°, i.e. slit running parallel to
the bypass channel, position "on", the maximum flow rate can
be reached.

The safety screw of the bypass stem is marked with a coat of lacquer.
This safety screw must never be loosened when the system is under pressure
There is danger that hot water may escape uncontrollably.
Having completed all installation work and any required setting of the differential pressure relief device, the in-
sulation is mounted. Install back insulation first. The insulation is connected to the components of the Regumat
with the help of a squeeze connection and can thus not fall down. The cables of the pump and the actuator are
fed downwards through the openings of the insulation. Mount front insulation and squeeze it onto the back in-
sulation firmly (squeeze connection) whilst holding the back insulation.
