Troubleshooting
15.1 Troubleshooting instructions
If any of the following problems occur, test the measuring instrument in the order indicated.
Problem
Sensor in air,
instrument displays 0.0 mg/l or
0 % O2
Sensor cannot be calibrated
Sensor cannot be calibrated
despite having replaced the cap
Incorrect temperature displayed
15.2 Return
If the unit requires repair, please send the measuring instrument and sensor cleaned to your local
sales center.
Please use the original packaging when returning the instrument.
Please enclose the duly completed "Declaration of Contamination" (copy the second last page of
these Operating Instructions) with the packaging and the transportation documents. The in-
strument cannot be repaired if a duly completed Declaration of Contamination is not
provided!
15.3 Disposal
The instrument contains electronic components and must therefore be disposed of in accordance
with regulations on the disposal of electronic waste.
Please observe local regulations.

Sensor not connected correctly

No electrolyte in membrane cap
Buildup on the membrane

Remedial action
Connect the sensor correctly
Fill with electrolyte or replace electro-
lyte.
Replace the membrane cap
Replace electrolyte
Clean the working electrode
Send in sensor for repair
