Place the food on the cold grill rack and
use the handle to place it on the required
slot in the grill insert. See the cooking
chart later in these instructions. The
food must not come into contact with the
infrared heating element!
•
Be aware that the food must be placed
on the grill rack so that it lies under the
radiation field of the infrared heating
element. The lower the slot, the greater
the area on the grill rack covered by
the heating element, but with a lower
temperature.

You can also connect a roasting
thermometer (3) to the socket (11) and
insert the thermometer's probe into the
food on the grill rack. The temperature
of the food is displayed on the roasting
thermometer display (10).
•
A steak will typically have 1-4 minutes on
each side, depending on the size of the
steak and the set temperature. Lift the grill
rack out and place it on a heat-resistant
surface. Turn the food and replace the grill
rack on the same slot in the grill insert.
Use tongs to turn the food instead of
sticking a fork in it so that the juices do not
run out.
•
Once the food is ready, take out the grill
rack and lift the food off. If you have grilled
a steak, leave it to stand for 3-5 minutes. If
necessary place it in the bottom drip tray.
•
If the cooking time ends, the infrared
heating element will automatically switch
off and the built-in fan will continue to run
until the temperature of the appliance is
around 60 °C.
•
To stop the cooking process, press and
hold the on/off button until the appliance
goes into standby.
•
Do not unplug the appliance until the fan
stops.
