Mode "Générateur"
Pour utiliser cette fonction, il est nécessaire de connecter
le cordon rouge ou le cordon noir sur le câble identifié et repéré à chaque extrémité. Ensuite, à
l'aide du troisième cordon vert, raccorder sur le fil que l'on cherche à identifier.
Placer l'interrupteur en mode «
f r é q u e n c e s .
II - CABLE TRACING MODE
OFF BEEP
Important : In order to use this feature, a wire, with no discontinuity, must have been
previously identified from one end to the other, next to the wire to be traced. Metallic
cable shield can provide this starting/reference connection, when available.
a) Tone generator mode
To use this function, connect both the read and the black leads of both Series 6 BL at each end of
the identified wire or shield (see above). Connect the green lead to the wire you wish to identify.
Push the sliding switch from "OFF" to «
this will apply a 2 tone signal to that wire. The Series 6 BL "sends" a tone to the other Series 6 BL
over the wire that you are trying to detect and identify.
