SETTINGS
Selecting the training zone
The pulse computer uses your age to automatic-
ally calculate your maximum heart rate (MHR)
and the 3 training zones. Zone 1: 50-65 % of
MHR, Zone 2: 65-80 % of MHR, Zone 3: 80-95
% of MHR (see Pages 5 and 6).
Keep pressing key "B" to select one of the
training zones (1, 2, 3 or U).
The selected training zone (e.g. 2) now flashes.
The U zone is a user-defined training zone.
Press key "C" to confirm your selection.
If you select training zone 1, 2 or 3, the

settings are automatically defined by the
computer.
If you select training zone U, you can now
define the limits for your own training
zones.
Keep pressing key "B" until the desired value for
the lower limit of the training zone (LZN) flashes.
Confirm this value by pressing key "C". The
upper limit for the training zone (HZN) now
starts to flash. Again use keys "B" and "C" to
select and confirm the desired value.
