14. Terminal Assignments of Plugs
a) ATX plug
The colour of the individual lines (eg PS ON and Power OK) may differ.
One connector socket is not assigned (the cable is missing). This is where the now no
longer necessary voltage "-5V" was applied with former power supply units.
A four pin part of the plug can be taken off, so that the power supply unit can also be used
with mainboards with only 20-pin ATX connection.
However, the 4-pin connection you are left with, must not be used anywhere!
