5. Safety Instructions

In the case of any damages which are caused due to failure to observe these
operating instructions, the guarantee will expire. We do not assume liability for
resulting damages!
Nor do we assume liability for damage to property or personal injury, caused by
improper use or the failure to observe the safety instructions. The guarantee will
expire in any such case!
Dear customer, The safety instructions and danger warnings below are not only for the
protection of the device but also to protect your well being. Please read carefully through
the following points:
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissible
because of safety and approval reasons (CE). Doing this, the guarantee/warrantee
would also expire.
• The product is not a toy and should be kept out of reach of children! Children cannot
assess the dangers involved when dealing with electric devices.
Be especially careful if children are around, as they could try to put objects through the
opening of the housing into the device! It can cause perilous electric shock!
• The product is intended for use in dry indoors, it must not get damp or wet! This not
only presents a risk of destruction of the product but also a deadly peril through an
electric shock!
• The structure of the power supply complies with safety class 1. As a voltage source
only a proper power socket (with protective earth conductor) of the public power supply
system may be used.
The power supply has an automatic voltage detection from 115 or 230V~, 50/60Hz.
This means there is no error prone setting of the existing mains voltage.
• When the product is brought from a cold into a warm room (eg during transport)
condensation may form. This could damage the product. There is also the deadly peril
of an electric shock!
This is why you should always let the product get to room temperature before you use
