1. Ensure your kettle is unplugged. Check if the timer switch is in OFF position.
2. Fill the fish kettle observing the MIN and MAX levels. Note : Do not overfill your fish
kettle as water may be ejected during use.
3. Place the appliance on a stable, level surface.
4. Plug the fish kettle into the power supply.
5. Prepare fish or vegetables for steaming and place onto the fish tray or into the
vegetable basket.
6. Place the fish tray with or without vegetable basket accessory into the body of the
kettle.
7. To switch the fish kettle on, turn the timer switch to the appropriate time setting. Power
light lights on. When time is over, the timer will give a single ring, the power light will go
out and the automatic cut-off system will switch the fish kettle off.
NB : the timer operates even the fish kettle is plugged or not. Be sure the power light
lights on when setting the timer.
8. Raise the lid up carefully allowing steam to dissipate before removing the fish tray.
9. After use, unplug and allow the appliance to cool completely before cleaning.
Note: Steaming times stated in the charts are only a guide. Times may vary depending on
the size of food pieces, spacing of the food in the steamer trays, freshness of food and
personal preference. As you become familiar with the steamer, adjust cooking times.
• Never immerse the fish kettle in water or any other liquid.
• Unplug and let the appliance cool completely before cleaning.
• Warranty does not cover damage caused by failure of cleaning or descaling on a regular
basis.
• Wipe the control box and heating element with a damp cloth.
• Do not clean any part of the appliance with abrasive products.
• Ensure electrical connections are kept dry at all times.
• Body, lid, fish tray and vegetable basket can be cleaned in a dishwasher.
