Carbon Monoxide Meter "CO-700"
Item no. 1662620
Intended use
The product is used to measure the carbon monoxide contents (CO) in the air in order to allow
for ventilation at an early stage.
The measuring range is 0 to 1000 ppm. Measurement accuracy cannot be guaranteed, if higher
values are used. The presence of carbon dioxide is indicated via the display and a beep (can
be turned on/off).
The product is powered by a 9 V block battery (included).
For safety and compliance reasons, the product must not be converted or modified in any way.
If you use the product for other purposes than those described above, the product may be dam-

• Please handle the product carefully. The product can be damaged if crushed,
struck or dropped, even from a low height.
• It is the user's responsibility to evaluate the measurement results of this device.
We do not guarantee the accuracy of the measurement results. Nor do we assume
liability for these. Under no circumstances do we assume liability for damages
caused by the use of the measurement results.
• Carbon monoxide (CO) is a colourless and odourless gas. Too high a concentra-
tion can lead to death! Pay attention to your own safety during all measurements!
• The meter should not be used as a personal security monitor.
• On industrial sites, the accident prevention regulations of the association of the
industrial workers'. society for electrical equipment and utilities must be followed.
• Measurement instruments used in schools, training facilities, do-it-yourself and
hobby workshops should not be handled unless supervised by trained, respon-
sible personnel.
• The device may not be used in explosion-prone areas (Ex).
• If safe operation is no longer possible, take the device out of service and secure
it against unintended use. Safe operation is no longer possible, if the product:
- shows visible damage,
- no longer functions properly,
- has been stored under adverse ambient conditions for an extended period of
time or
- has been exposed to considerable strain during transport.

General information
• Carbon monoxide (CO) is flammable and highly toxic; invisible, odourless and tasteless.
It is slightly lighter than air (density about 96.5% compared to air). Low concentrations are
already dangerous for humans.
• Carbon monoxide is mainly produced by incomplete combustion (for example, of fossil fuels
such as gas, heating oil, but also of biomass/wood) as well as by chemical reactions. Like-
wise, emissions from soils or springs are possible. Hazardous carbon monoxide concentra-
tions may also occur during the transport or storage of wood pellets.
Consult the Internet or specialist literature for more information on carbon monoxide
and the effects of certain gas concentrations on humans (including living and work-
ing spaces in your country). Make sure data/information is up-to-date.
