System Requirements
When installing the
Behnke electronics "additional IP door bell" /
"PA system connection", please observe the
following minimum requirements:

The current norms and regulations for network
technology apply.
▸ DHCP server (in case of missing DHCP server,
see page 39)
Installation requirements
The electronics are only intended for installa-
tion in protected indoor areas. The loudspeaker
output in the operating mode "additional SIP
door bell" can be very loud. Please observe the
relevant noise protection regulations.
Maintenance and Care
You have chosen high-quality Behnke products
with front panels made from various
materials. Every material must be cleaned in
sufficiently small intervals
with a suitable cleaning agent, depending on
the material. This prevents early ageing and
patina formation on the surface.

Additional SIP door bell / SIP PA system connection
Original Behnke components
Please do not use any other parts but original
Behnke components or spare parts – this also
applies to
POE injectors! This will guarantee an intercom
operation free from interference. Electronics
must only be mounted or installed
in the supplied housings. If a third-party hous-
ing or a housing other than the one
provided for mounting is used, we cannot guar-
antee functioning and approval of your door
intercom station.
Configuration and Set-up
To configure your SIP door intercoms either
with or without camera, please use the web
front-end (for system requirements, please cf.
page ). Alternatively, some settings such as

volume etc. can be
changed via a telephone with DTMF dialling.

end on SIP door intercom stations.
Prescriptions
Please adhere to the relevant prescriptions
for the installation of communications and
electronic systems as well as the applicable
current standards and regulations on network
technology!
