26. Headphone Output

The left side of the device has a 3.5 mm headphones output that you can use to output the audio signal via headphones.
If you connect the headphones to the device, the audio output via the internal speakers is automatically deactivated.
Excessive volume using headphones may cause hearing damage.

27. Backlighting

• If the radio is operated via batteries/rechargeable batteries, the backlighting will be switched on for about 12 seconds when any button is pushed.
• If the radio is connected to the mains and switched on, the backlighting is always on.
