8. Make sure everything is properly seated, remove the hooks from the external
chimney to complete the installation (see Figure 8).

INSTALLATION OF AN ACTIVATED CARBON FILTER

Note: The activated carbon filter is NOT included and must be purchased
separately!
Activated carbon filters are used to bind odors. Typically, the activated charcoal
filter should be changed after three or six months, depending on how often you
cook. Install the activated carbon filter is as follows:
1. First remove the aluminum filter to be removed first. Open the latch and
remove it.
2. Insert the activated carbon filter into the device and turn it counterclockwise.
Repeat the same on the other side.
