If the supplied mains plug does not fit into the sock-
et, ask a qualified person to replace the plug with a
suitable one. As a general rule, the use of single or
multi plug adapters or extension cables is not rec-
ommended. If their use is indispensable, models that
correspond to the safety regulations must be used.
The maximum voltage stated on the adapters and
extension cables must not be exceeded.

when not in use. Disconnect it from the mains.

The installation must be carried out in accordance
with the manufacturer's specifications. Improper in-
stallation can result in harm to people, animals or ob-
jects, for which the manufacturer is not liable.

nozzles into your nose. Instead, place them as close
as possible to your nose.

ing the atomiser, keep a minimum distance of 0.3 m

Contraindications:

No contraindications exist to the administration of
aerosols by inhalation. Contraindications related to
the medicine used must be checked with the medi-
cines package leaflet.

quick-relief medications during life-threatening asth-

3. Preparation and use of the EMSER®
Inhalator Pro
Before using the EMSER
we recommend cleaning it as described in the "Cleaning
and disinfection" section.
1. Unpack the device and check that all parts are pres-
ent.
2. If not already assembled on delivery, assemble the
atomiser set ( 3 ) and connect the compressed air
hose ( 2 ) with the straight end to the atomiser set ( 3 ,
10 ) (see Figure 9 )
3. Carefully connect the angled end of the compressed
air hose ( 2 ) to the connection point on the compres-
sor ( 1 b).
4. Fill the atomiser ( 3 ) with an inhalation solution rec-
ommended by your doctor or pharmacist. Do not ex-
ceed the maximum fill level of 8 ml indicated by the
"max" marking.
5. Connect the atomiser set to the desired accesso-
ry, mouthpiece ( 4 ) , face mask ( 5 , 6, see Figure 11 ) or
nosepiece ( 7 ) .
– The mouthpiece provides better delivery of the
medication to the lungs.
– Choose either the adult face mask ( 5 ) or children's
face mask ( 6 ) and make sure that the mouth and
nose are completely covered.
– Use all accessories, including nosepiece ( 7 ) , as
prescribed by your physician.
6. Insert the power cable into the socket.
7. Turn the operating switch ( 1 a) on to start the treat-
ment.
