Disconnect the mass cable from the battery!
A 10-P socket for the trailer module is already included in the wire set and is located on the left side

a)
There is a connecting bridge in the 10-P socket It should be removed (it will not be needed anymore) .
b)
Open the additional lock of the 10-P socket and insert the plug end from the provided red bundle of cables into
the free chamber 6.
c)
Close the additional lock again and connect the trailer module to the 10-P socket.
d)
In case of electric sets for Opel Astra G in Top Tronic version, chamber 6 of the socket is already occupied,
demanding merely the mounted 10 A fuse to be replaced by a 15 A fuse. See also instruction manuals of
other assembly sets, appropriate for a given vehicle.
There are two cables in the socket: black and brown. Attach both cables to the enclosed alarm buzzer, doing it in

the following way:

Using the provided M5 bolts, mount the trailer module and the alarm buzzer in their proper locations.

Bring the other, red/blue end of the wiring set to the vehicle's battery and cut off excessive length. Insulate the end
of the wiring set on approximately 5 mm.
a)
Clamp the provided plug end on the wire set terminal and mount the provided plug end housing.
b)
Connect the provided red/blue connecting cable to the battery and insert the fuse holder between the two
plug ends.

Note:
The alarm buzzer, installed on the wiring set, generates acoustic signals in failures of electric supply to the trailer
module. Every brake pressing generates then an alarm sound. In such a case, it is always necessary to seek
assistance at an authorised service station, ordering repair of the defects in the positive cable of the trailer module.
Fix all the cable bundles with provided band clips, mount all the covers again, as well as reassemble all
disassembled parts. Connect the battery again and control all the vehicle's functions with either a hooked trailer or
a proper control unit.
