Installation
• In a cabinet or control panel
• Mounting position: Horizontal
• Ensure easy access for service
• Permissible ambient temperature in operation: 0...50 °C
Mounting methods
Refer to Figures

Standard mounting on standard rail TH 35-7.5
Mount the rail.
Hook in the unit at the top of the rail.
Push the securing springs down with a screwdriver. Push on
the unit and let the securing springs engage in the rail.
Removal:
Push the securing springs down and pull the unit
off the rail.

Mounting on the rear wall
Drill 4 holes for screws with a dia. of max. 3.5 mm.
Secure the unit with 4 screws and ensure that the mounting
surface is flat (housing must not be distorted).

Number of solid wires / stranded wires per terminal
Each terminal can accommodate the following number
of solid or stranded wires (twisted or with ferrules):
1 solid / stranded wire
2 solid / stranded wires
3 or more solid / stranded wires are not permitted.

Cable strain relief
Cable strain relief is mandatory. This means that the
cables must be secured to the lugs at the base of the
unit using cable ties.

Separate cable routing
The cables for AC 24 V operating voltage and
AC 230 V mains voltage (relay connections) must be
laid separately.

Protection against electrical shock hazard is ensured
inside the cabinet or control panel. Do not mount the
unit outside such cabinets or panels.
The relays of the unit can switch either mains voltage
or low-voltage. Switching both mains and low-voltage
is not permitted!

Setting up the unit
Commissioning Instructions on CD
On the enclosed CD, you find the Commissioning Instructions in
national languages as a PDF file.
1. Insert CD in the drive.
2. If the ACS installation program is started, stop it.
3. Select [Start] > Run > Open > setupOZW775.htm
to open Commissioning Instructions C5663en (PDF file).
Path (if CD drive = D:) D:\Documentation\OZW775\
4. Set up the unit as explained in Commissioning Instructions
C5663en.
