SCOPE OF USE

You have purchased a powerful 190 W hot knife foam cutter.
It is designed for precise, quick cutting and trimming of polystyrene rigid foam (non-
combustible foam according to DIN 4102).
It is particularly suitable for cutting unusual shapes and smaller workpieces.
Please note that the product is suitable for DIY use only and is not designed for commercial
applications.
The fumes produced when cutting foam can be toxic - if you work indoors, work only in rooms
fitted with a dedicated fume extraction system. PVC and PVC-coated materials produce toxic
fumes when heated and may not be cut with this machine.
Bear in mind the risk of burns when working with the machine. The cutting edges can reach
temperatures of over 300° C - after switching the machine on, never touch the blades until
you have finished work, switched the machine off and allowed the machine and the blades
to cool down.
Do not use the machine in areas with unfavourable ambient conditions such as:
- damp or high humidity
- high concentrations of dust; or where flammable gases, fumes or solvents are present.
Use of the product for any other purpose and / or modification of the product count as misuse
and can be highly dangerous.
Caution: At the optimal working temperature the rigid foam material can be cut without
producing smoke.
