The use of POLIMASK halfmasks in combination with filters is allowed only ac-
cording to the following conditions:
4.1
The use of POLIMASK halfmasks in combination with gas filters is allowed only
up to a concentration of contaminant which is equal to 30 times the threshold
limit values (TLV). On condition that it is not used in presence of gas concen-
trations higher than those which have been set for gas filters (see instructions
for use of filters). The use of POLIMASK half masks is allowed with gas filter of
class 1 and 2.

For the use of particle filters with POLIMASK, the following multiples of the th-
reshold limit values (TLV) are equal to the maximum concentration of contami-
nant permitted in the ambient atmosphere. For higher concentrations of toxic
particles use full-face masks. if necessary use isolating breathing apparatuses.

When using the combined filters, both the limitations for use above indicated
are to be observed. The threshold limit values, indicated in the table, equal to
the highest concentration of toxic substance (gas or dusts) permitted in the sur-
rounding environment.
