D.P.I. s.r.l. has carefully worded and edited this instruction manual. However, in
no event shall D.P.I. s.r.l. be liable for any damage caused by misunderstandings
of the text, misprints or incompleteness. SEKUR is a registered trade mark of
the personal protective equipment manufactured by D.P.I. s.r.l.. Technical alte-
rations of this equipment are not allowed.
1.1 Before using POLIMASK half masks, users must ensure that all the instruc-

tions in this manual are read, understood and followed.
1.2 SEKUR masks have been specifically designed for the use described in this
manual.
1.3 Repair and replacement of spare parts must be carried out only by trained
personnel, using original SEKUR spare parts.
1.4 It is advisable for all periodic mask testing to be carried out by D.P.I. s.r.l.
technical department or by other trained personnel qualified for this pur-
pose, according to the instructions of the appropriate paragraph.
1.5 The D.P.I. s.r.l. standard warranty indicates the full extent of the liability of
D.P.I. s.r.l.. D.P.I. s.r.l. will not accept liability for any damages caused by:
a)
testing which has not been carried out;
b)
testing and maintenance improperly carried out by persons other than
those qualified to do so by D.P.I. s.r.l.;
c)
improper use of the mask.
1.6 D.P.I. s.r.l. will not accept liability for any damages caused by failure to abide
by the aforementioned provisions and those included in this instruction
manual.
1.7 For everything which has not been mentioned above, the general condi-
tions of this warranty apply. In the event that you don't know the condi-
tions of the contract, D.P.I. s.r.l. will send further information upon written
request.
Please note: failure to abide by all the instructions and warnings related to use
of the protection device and/or the incorrect donning of the respirator during
the exposure to polluted atmosphere, can seriously damage the user's health
and cause serious occupational disease and permanent disability.

POLIMASK halfmasks are PPE belonging to the III category according to the Eu-
ropean Directive 89/686/EEC , and they conform to the requirements specified
in the with the harmonised European Norm EN 140:98 and the follows relevant
Norm:

EN 133 "Classification of the personal protective equipments of the bre-
athing tract"

EN 140 "Personal protective equipments of the breathing tract, halfmasks
and quarter of masks"
