The CE mark "CE 0426" printed on the product identifies the Notified Body
which controls the production in accordance with the procedure foreseen by
the articles 11/A or 11/B of the 89/686/EEC European Directive - Italcert - Viale
Sarca, 336 - 20126 Milan - Italy (Notify Body Identification No. 0426).

3 Field of application
The instructions for use of filters and respiratory equipment, as well as the sa-
fety standards and regulations issued by the testing authority, must be strictly
followed. The users of POLIMASK must ensure that the highest concentrations
of contaminants in the ambient atmosphere are not exceeded (= threshold limit
values, TLV). The threshold limit values are indicated in the manual containing
the instructions for use of the filters used with the mask. Specific limitations,
indicated as follows, for the use of half masks equipped with filter are also to be
respected. After connecting the half-mask to the filter, a respiratory protection
device is obtained (respiratory equipment).
3.1 Polimask 100/2 e Polimask 2000 β
These models of halfmask are equipped with two threaded connectors (com-
plete with gasket and inhalation valve) for use with two SEKUR filter of the 200
series.
3.2 Polimask 230 e Polimask 2000 γ
These models of halfmask are equipped with a threaded connector (complete
with gasket and inhalation valve) for use with a SEKUR series 230 filter.
3.3 Polimask 330 e Polimask 2000 α
These models of halfmasks are equipped with threaded connector conforming
to EN 148/1 Norm. As a result, all the following filters can be used with:
1. filters conforming to EN 14387 and EN 143 with a maximum weight of 300
g. (DIRIN 230 and DIRIN 300 series);
2. compressed air line breathing apparatuses conforming to EN 139 perma-
nently installed air line systems;
