Disassembly
Disassembly and re-assembly should only be performed with assistance of the sectional
drawing and/or the exploded view. Observe the safety instructions of the operation and
maintenance manual.
For replacing the vanes, loosen the screws item 49, remove handle, assy. item 30 and
sealing item 47. Remove Belleville spring item 19. Pull out end plate item 16 and rotor item 14.
Take the vanes item 15 out of the rotor slots. The slots have to be cleaned from oil and resin
residues prior to mounting new vanes. The reassembly of the rotor is done after the cleaning of
the running surfaces of the end plates and the cylinder bushing.
The vanes are considered to be worn, when their thickness is less than 23.5 mm.
Disassembly of impact mechanism
Loosen screws item 62 and pull the impact mechanism housing item 55 completely with the
impact mechanism off the motor.
Press bolt item 59 out of the cross beam item 57, the two hammers item 58 and anvil item 69
can be removed then. (Attention: Screws item 62 are locked with Loctite!).
Disassembly of motor
Remove screws item 49 and complete handle item 30 with sealing item 47. Take out
Belleville spring item 19. Pull out resp. press out inner motor parts.
Pull end plate item 16 from rotor seat and continue disassembling. Take vanes item 15 out
of the rotor slots. Press bearing item 10 out of the motor housing item 1 and screw out outlet
nipple item 21.
Disassembly of reversing gear
Instantly after removing the handle item 30, the reverse valve item 5 incl. o-ring item 6 can
be pulled out of the reverse bushing item 3. Pay attention to the pressure spring item 7 and the
arresting bolt item 8.
