h) Alarm clock
Accessing the alarm settings
The easiest way to access the menu for the alarm settings is by pressing the
the
button (14) of the device. Alternatively, you will also find the settings in the "Settings" - "Alarm clock" menu.
Setting the alarm
• The radio has two separate alarms, which you can set and use separately from each other. The settings are
identical for both.
• Now select "Alarm 1 (Off)" or "Alarm 2 (Off)" from the Alarm clock menu. Both alarms are set in the same way.
For this, again use the two arrow keys
OK button (N and 3) or DIAL/SELECT (3) button to select.
• Next, press both arrow buttons
DIAL/SELECT(3) knob on the radio, till the white selection bar is on the "On" position. Confirm by pressing the OK
(N and 3) button or by pressing the DIAL /SELECT (3) button.
• Press the OK (N and 3) button again or press the DIAL /SELECT (3) button to select the menu "Repeat". Here you
can select how often and when the alarm should be repeated.
• Now select whether the alarm should sound "Daily", "Once" or on one or more specific weekday(s). The selection
in the menu is again via the arrow keys
the desired option, confirm with the OKbutton (N) or by pressing the DIAL/SELECT (3) button. The internet radio
activates the alarm on the days selected with check marks.
• Press the
(G and 6) button to go back to the previous menu, and then navigate to "TIME": 00:00".
• Open the menu and set the desired alarm time. Use the arrow keys
control or the DIAL/SELECT (3) knob of the device. Press the OK button (N) or the DIAL/SELECT (3) button to
confirm the time.
• Go to "Sound: Melody", and open it. Here you can set the alarm tone.
• Select a "sound" from an alarm tone, a melody, or the Internet radio. Confirm your selection with the OK button (N)
or by pressing the DIAL /SELECT (3) button.
• Select "Tone" if the alarm should only make a beeping noise. A permanently stored alarm melody will be played if
you select "Melody". If you select "Internet radio", you must also select a station from your saved Favourites. If the
internet radio station cannot be found when the alarm goes off (e.g. if no Wi-Fi connection is available), the standard
alarm tone will be played automatically after one minute.
Setting snooze alarm
• You can set the snooze function according to your wishes. Then the alarm sounds again after a certain set time.
You can switch the snooze function off completely or set snooze times of 5, 10, 20, 30, 60, 90 and 120 minutes.
• To do this, go to "Snooze alarm (Off)", then open it by pressing the OK (N) button or by pressing the
DIAL/SELECT(3) button.
• Set the desired volume with the two arrow keys
DIAL/SELECT (3) knob of the radio until the white selection bar is on the menu option you want.
• Confirm your selection by pressing the OK button (N) or by pressing the DIAL /SELECT (3) button. The display
goes to the previous step and the selected snooze time is displayed in the current bar.
