18 Brightness levels can be set in the power saving mode. They can be identified from the individual levels of the
setting bar.
"Enable"
Use this option to set the LC display (2) brightness. 18 Brightness levels can be set in the mode 'Enable'. They can
be identified from the individual levels of the setting bar.
"Display"
Set the colour mode of the LC-display (2) using this option. Colour -> and monochromatic are available. To apply a
setting after selection, the menu option must be confirmed with the OK button (N).
"Power management"
Use this option to set the power saving mode. You can choose from the following times: Power off, 5, 15 or 30 minutes.
Select the desired time period by pressing the
Confirm your selection with the OK button (N) or by pressing the DIAL /SELECT (3) button.
"Sleep timer"
Use this menu option to configure the sleep timer. The radio will switch off automatically when the pre-set time has
elapsed. You can select a time of up to 180 minutes in 15-minute intervals each.
"Cache"
Use this option to select a cache buffer of 2, 4 or 8 seconds for the radio station.
Select the desired time period by pressing the

"Weather"
These sub-menu options are available in the menu: Local setting -> Temperature unit -> Show when on standby ->
Local setting
"Local setting"
Use this menu to select the city for which you want to view weather data in standby mode. First select the desired
continent, and then select the country and city. To add this to the display, press the OK button (N and 3) while the
weather of the current city is being displayed. Then confirm again with the OK button (N and 3)
"Temperature unit"
Use this option to select between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) for the display of temperature.
"View on standby"
Choose whether to display weather information when the radio is in standby mode. When enabled, the display
switches between the time and weather information when the radio is in standby mode.
"Local station setting"
You can manually adjust the automatic selection for the "Local station" here. First, select "Set manually (country)" or
"Set manually (City) ". Then select your continent and the desired country. To apply, confirm "Save as a local station"
with the OK button (N and 3). Then select the radio stations that you want as your local stations.
If you select "Detect automatically", the device determines your current location automatically and displays the
available stations. In this case, select the desired stations and proceed in the same way as with the manual selection.
"Display Set-up"
Use this option to select whether the tracks should be repeated individually during playback or whether they should
be played randomly. Select "off" to cancel repeat.
