Hand pallet truck PROLINE MOTION 26
English
Operating instructions
Actuating elements
The pallet truck is a manually-operated hydraulic
device.
The load is lifted by manipulating the pump lever.
Easy manoeuvrability due to steering rollers of
solid-rubber resp. Polyurethane and fork rollers of
Polyamide resp. Polyurethane.
The control lever in the handle can be set to three
different positions,
- LIFTING – LOWERING – DRIVING -
Operating:
Moving and steering using the steering handle
The steering handle is connected to the steering rollers. The wheels are steered automatically by moving the
steering handle.
Picking up a load
Check that the load does not exceed the loading capacity of the
pallet truck.
Roll the pallet truck slowly up to the pallet/load. Roll the fork
prongs under the pallet until the back end of the fork rests against
the load (pallet). Lift the load by executing the pumping move-
ments shown.
Loading diagram
The load must be evenly distributed across both prongs of
the fork.
Moving with the load
As the pallet truck is not equipped with a brake it must not be
used on upward or downward slopes.
As far as floor/ground clearance permits, the load should be trans-
ported across the floor/ground at as low a height as possible.
Move at a uniform speed appropriate to the load and floor/ground conditions.
Move at a uniform speed which is appropriate for the load and floor/ground conditions.
Pallet trucks PROLINE MOTION are available with optional parking
brake for extra charge!
Setting the load down
Lower the load by applying the operating lever in the handle.
Check that the way is not blocked behind, and then move the pallet truck
away.
When the pallet truck is in the parked position the load must be lowered to
the floor/ground. The operator must ensure that the pallet truck is securely
immobilized. This should normally be done by bringing it to a controlled
stop on a flat floor/ground surface. If the unladen pallet truck is parked on
an uneven or slightly sloping floor/ground surface, measures must be
taken to prevent the pallet truck from rolling away. This can be done by
parking it against the load with the load on the downside of the slope, by
placing wedges against the rollers or by using a parking brake (not
included as standard with the contents of delivery).
The operator is responsible for ensuring that the pallet truck is securely parked.
