Installation of the effective load
• Place the effective load in such a way that the break-down
torque resulting from force F (parallel to the axis of motion) and
lever arm "a" remains small.
• Fasten the useful load to the slide with screws and centring
sleeves.
• Consider the max. screw-in depth D.

For effective loads with own guide:
• Adjust the guides of the effective load and of the ELGA so that they are exactly parallel or use a
connection that permits tolerance compensation.
You will then avoid overloading the guide (wear).
For hard and stiff effective loads (steel):
Note
If the aluminium slide is bent against a curved ef-
fective load, the service life of the guide will be re-
duced.
• Make sure the mounting surface of the effective
load exhibits the following evenness:
t ≤ 0.03 mm (for ELGA-TB-G)
t ≤ 0.01 mm (for ELGA-TB-RF).
To avoid collisions with mounting parts:
• Make sure that the effective load does not impact anywhere
during operation.
