IV- GETTING STARTED
Before any intervention on product, ensure that product is disconnected from its power source.
4.1- Unpacking
- Remove product from its packaging.
- Check that tool and accessories are not damage
Content:
- Reciprocating saw
- 1 wood/plastic blade
- 1 metal blade
4.2- Inserting and removing the cutting accessory (blade) (Fig.2)
4.2.1- Inserting a cutting accessory
Note1: Use only a clean work tool. Before insertion into the
clamp, lubricate the shaft of the accessory lightly with machine
grease.
1. Rotate the quick release blade clamp (4) a half turn
anticlockwise (refer to arrow engraved on the clamp).
2. Insert blade between the 2 clamps of the blade holder (3).
Note: Insert the accessory into the holder as inside as possible, and make sure that the hole on the
blade's shanks is locked by the small pin inside the blade holder.
3. Ensure that blade is securely locked in by firmly pulling on it.
4.2.2- Removing a cutting accessory
1. Rotate the quick release blade clamp (4) a half turn anticlockwise
2. Remove the cutting accessory from the blade holder (3).
3. Clean the cutting accessory and rub it over with a small amount of machine grease.
4.3- Adjusting the shoe plate (Fig.3)
The shoe plate (2) can be adjusted from 30 to 60mm from the blade holder (3).
Push the button
plate; then slide in inwards or outwards to desired
length.
Push the button
into position.
4.4- Switching ON and OFF (Fig.4)
Attention! Before starting working with the rotary hammer, check that the voltage shown
on the machine's rating plate is the same as the mains voltage being used.
1. To switch tool on: press on the On/Off trigger switch (7).
The tool remains switched on for as long as the On/Off switch (7) is
depressed.
2. To switch tool off: release the On/Off trigger switch (7).
The tool switches off immediately but cutting accessory may keep on
running on for a little while.
