Lift, carry and hang the pump with the handle and the rope. Don't apply excessive force to
power cable and water pipe.
•
Aimed to avoid trapping air bubbles under the pump (close to suction opening), slowly
submerge the pump in water at an angle.
•
When the pump is suspended or touched down to the surface under water, adjust the pump
position, then secure the pump by tying the rope to a fixed object appropriately.
Power On
•
Connect to a grounded power sources that meets the safety requirements (section 3 refers).
•
Open the control valve, the pump will start running automatically.
5.3- Tips
•
Check and make sure all joints are connected securely.
•
Don't submerge the pump to the depth higher then 7 metres, which may cause damage to the
product.
•
Do not leave the pump running unattended.
•
Do not use the pump when people or pet is in the water.
VI. MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
WARNING!
Before any intervention on product, disconnect from power source.
Reminder: In order to maintain the machine in good working condition, carry out regular
maintenance of the machine after each use and before storage. Any breach or inadequate
maintenance reduces the life of the machine and increases the risk of breakdowns and accidents.
6.1- Cleaning
• Before cleaning, disconnect from power source.
• Clean the exterior of the pump with clean water.
• In case of necessary, use brush and mild detergent to assist cleaning.
• Immerse the pump in a container with clean water, power on the pump to rinse the interior of
the pump.
WARNING!
Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents or strong detergents for cleaning the
non-metallic parts of the product. They may weaken the plastic materials.
6.2- Storage
• Disconnect from power source before storage.
• Clean the product before storage.
• Keep product, instruction manual and accessories (if any) in the original packaging.
• Store the product in a clean environment, where is not freezing.
• Keep out of reach of children (e.g. lock it up).
