  • Page 12 STARTING UP THE ENGINE – Push the throttle half way in (5, fig. 3) – If the engine is cold, use the choke (6, fig. 3). Turn the ignition key (1, fig. 1). – Once the engine has started, turn off the choke and wait for a few minutes to allow the engine to warm up. N.B.
  • Page 13 MAINTENANCE AND LUBRICATION CAUTION Remove the key and disconnect the plug before performing any cleaning, maintenance or repair operation. Always wear suitable clothing and working gloves. IMPORTANT! Protect the environment: carefully dispose of used oils, petrol and any other pollutant product! Efficient maintenance and correct lubrication help keep the machine in perfect working order.

  • Page 29 TERRAINS EN PENTE Les terrains en pente doivent être parcourus, si possible, dans le sens montée/descente, en faisant grande attention, lors des changements de direction, à ce que les roues en amont ne rencontrent aucun obstacle (cailloux, branches, racines, etc…) qui pourraient entraîner le capotage ou la perte de contrôle de la machine. Evaluer convenablement les différentes situations et faire grande attention si le terrain est humide et l’herbe mouillée car la machine pourrait glisser.

  • Page 37 MÄHEN AUF HÄNGEN Wiesen in steiler Hanglage sollten vorzugsweise senkrecht (auf-ab), und niemals parallel zum Hang gemäht werden. Beim Richtungswechsel ist darauf zu achten, dass die bergwärts gelegenen Räder nicht durch Hindernisse wie Steine, Äste, Wurzeln, o. ä. die Bodenhaftung verlieren, da dies ein Umkippen des Mähers oder den Verlust der Kontrolle über das Fahrzeug zur Folge haben könnte.

NB: Diese Einstellung muss in einem autorisierten Grillo-Kundendienstcenter vorgenommen werden. AVV (ANLASSEN) schaltet sich das Armaturenbrett nicht ein. – Die Batterie liefert keinen Strom – Verbindungskabel kontrollieren – Batterie aufladen – Sicherung auswechseln Das Armaturenbrett schaltet sich ein, aber obwohl der Zündschlüssel in der Pos. AVV. (ANLASSEN) ist, reagiert der Anlassermotor nicht.
  • Page 40 ELEKTRISCHE ANLAGE Die elektrische Anlage ist durch eine Schmelzsicherung geschützt; brennt die Sicherung durch, wird die gesamte elektrische Anlage außer Betrieb gesetzt. Den Defekt suchen und beheben und die durchgebrannte Sicherung durch eine neue, identische Sicherung ersetzen. Niemals Sicherungen mit anderer Leistung einsetzen.   • Page 46 CONTROL CUCHILLAS Y PLATO DE CORTE Una cuchilla desafilada arranca el césped, dándole un aspecto desagradable. Es necesario que se afilen siempre las dos cuchillas. Para desmontar una cuchilla, aferrarla fuertemente, utilizando guantes de trabajo, y destornillar el tornillo central considerando que el mismo gira a derechas (Fig. 9 n. 3); afilar ambos filos mediante una muela de grano mediano y controlar el equilibrado de la cuchilla sosteniéndola con una barra introducida en el orificio central.
