- Follow the steps indicated by the software itself, answering the questions that will appear on the screen.
It is best to perform the installations as the administrator user of the system or with equivalent permits.
7.- STARTING UP AND SHUTTING DOWN THE UNIT.
• Make sure that what is indicated in chapter 6 Installation has been followed.
• Set the battery module protection to "ON" for the SPS.3000.TOP, or if the unit has extended autonomy "B".
• Apply mains voltage to the input of the SPS.
7.1.- Start-up of the SPS.
• Hold down button (6) for more than 1 second. The SPS will start and carry out the battery auto-test each tie this
operation is performed.
• Start the loads to be supplied.
• If the equipment is overload for a long period of time the fuse (5) of the mains supply will blow or the circuit breaker
(5) will trip. Reduce the load and replace the fuse by one of the same type and rating, or reset the circuit breaker
to the "ON or I", whatever corresponds and start the machine once more.
7.2.- Shutting down the SPS.
• Stop the loads.
• Press button (7) for at least 1 second until the SPS goes out.
• In the SPS.3000.TOP or models with extended autonomy "B", deactivate the MCB of the battery module.
7.3.- Auto-test function.
• Use the auto-test both to make sure the SPS is working correctly, and the state of the batteries.
• With the main present and the SPS running, press button (6) for at least 1 second. The auto-test function will be
performed, during which the unit will work in "Autonomy" mode (Led (b) alight and (c) out for a few seconds), then
returning to the "Line correct" mode (Led (b) out and (c) alight).
If the battery charge is low, when the auto-test is performed, it returns immediately to "Line correct " (Led (c)
alight) and the Led (a) "Battery replacement " lights. The loads are not affected during the process.
Leave the batteries to charge for some 6 hours and perform another auto-test. If the process is repeated and the
Led (a) "Battery replacement " lights, contact the A.S.S. (After Sales Service) for the batteries to be changed.
