NON-FUNCTIONING DIAGNOSIS.
FOR MECHANICAL MODELS
SYMPTOMS
Checklight 3 does
not light up when the
power supply unit is
connected.
No light in the
lantern side.
Rocker switch 2 in ON
position, checklight 1
is off.
Difficulty in lighting.
No light in the lamp house side.
(Lamp house alight).
No light in the zoom side.
Bad quality light beam.
No air exhausted in the lamp housing.
DOSSIER TECHNIQUE
POSSIBLE CAUSES
Mains absence.
Lamp failure.
Automatic breaker and
transformer are OFF.
Badly adjusted
spark-gap.
Bad contact. Harting plug
power supply / Lighting
unit.
Lantern bonnet badly
closed.
Lamp is badly mounted.
Failure to ignite
(ignition block, spark-gap).
Colour changer unit
closed.
Gobo frame changer
badly positioned.
Iris cassette closed.
Reflector and lenses not
in good condition.
Fans power supply
connector or clips
disconnected.

REMEDIES
Check the mains and
cable connections.
Refer to section A - 5 & 14.
Repeat the operation.
Turn ON the automatic
breaker 4 .
Refer to section B - 1.
Check the connections.
Refer to section A - 14.
Make sure bonnet is
properly closed. Adjust the
position of the mini-circuit
breaker.
Check cables and lamp.
Refer to sections A - 9 & 14.
Refer to section B - 1.
Open colour unit at the
front of the lighting unit.
Check gobo frame.
Turn the handle of the
iris cassette.
Refer to section B - 1.
Reconnect the connector
or clips.
