If you have a set with isolators, then proceed as follows:
They drive wooden stakes into the ground around the site approximately 3 to 5m apart depending on
the size of the site or how it fits best. Then screw the ring insulators into the posts, always at the same
height. After the insulators are screwed in, stretch the tape/twine from the first insulator on the first post
to the last insulator on the last post.
If you want to stretch two rows, prepare two rows of insulators on the wooden stakes. You start again
at the first insulator of the top row. Now always stretch the electric fence tape/twine through the upper
insulator of your wooden posts. After stretching a row of electric fence tape/twine, on the last post, run
the tape from the top insulator to the second row below and stretch the tape/twine back to the first post,
parallel to the first row.
You should tighten minimum at least 3 or better 4 lines.
When you have fully tension the tape/twine, now connect the red cable to the electric fence device (red
button) and to the fence line.
ELECTRIFY FENCE
After all work is done, plug the power cord of the device into the socket and turn the ON and OFF
switch on the device to ON. Your fence should now be energized and working.
FUNCTION OF THE FENCE
If your pet touches the fence with its snout, the animal will not go to the fence after the first moment of
shock. It is not enough if the animal just touches the fence with its fur.
The fur is like insulation and the animal feels little. In this case, you should lead the animal to the fence
once.
If strange animals come to the fence that should not enter, they will usually sniff the fence and then feel
the energy.
With a fence tester you can check the function of the fence.
