5. Safety Information

The guarantee/warranty will be void if damage is incurred resulting from non-
compliance with the operating instructions. We do not assume any
responsibility for consequential damage!
We do not assume any liability for damage to property or personal injury
caused by improper use or the failure to observe the safety instructions! In
such cases the guarantee/warranty will be void.
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is prohibited for
safety and approval reasons (CE).
• The device is not a toy. Children cannot judge the dangers involved when
handling electrical devices.
• The product is intended for use in dry indoor rooms. It must not get damp or wet!
There is danger to life from electric shock!
• When the product is brought from a cold into a warm room (e.g. during transport),
condensation water may .. This might cause a deadly electric shock!
Therefore, allow the product to reach room temperature before connecting and
operating it.
• The mains adapter is categorised as protection class II. It is only intended for
operation under the mains voltage of the public grid.
• Only operate the DECT repeater via the included mains adapter. Do not use any
other mains adapter for power supply.
• Do not pull the plug-in power supply unit from the mains socket by pulling the
cable.
• If the mains adapter is damaged, do not touch it. Danger to life from electrical
current!
First power down the mains socket to which the mains adapter is connected (e.g.
switch off the respective fuse or turn out the fuse.)
Then unplug the mains adapter from the mains socket. Dispose of the damaged
mains adapter in an environmentally compatible way. Do not use it anymore.
Replace it with a new mains adapter of the same specifications.
• Use the device only in moderate climate regions and not in tropical climate.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employer's
Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and Operating Materials
are to be observed.
