Important Information
• Protect the unit against extreme environmental influences (e.g.
temperatures outside those specified in the technical specifications and
extended direct solar radiation)!
• Do not expose the unit to extremely strong magnetic fields, e.g. near
induction-type furnaces and electric welding equipment!
Protecting electronic units against interference
Other electronic units are generally protected against high-frequency
irradiation. However, if a device of this kind is insufficiently protected,
malfunctions may occur. These malfunctions can be eliminated by increasing
the distance between the units concerned.
Tips for location
You are advised to use an antiskid surface for your charger, in particular
with new furniture or furniture that has been treated with preservation
agents. Varnishes or varnish preservation agents may contain substances
that soften the feet of the device, thus leaving unsightly stains on the
surface of your furniture. Funktel cannot be made liable for such damage.
General approval and EU conformity
The Funktel GmbH declares that the product FC1 concurs with the basic
requirements and other relevant provisions of EU guideline 1999/5/EU
(R&TTE).
This device is suitable for connection to the radio interfaces (DECT
Funktel Mobility Server and fulfils the basic requirements laid out in EU
Guideline 1999/5/EU (Radio and Telecommunication Terminal Equipment,
R&TTE).
Due to its construction, this device is not suitable for direct operation on
interfaces to public telecommunications networks.
