Teaching
All buttons (except the TV, STB, DVD and AUDIO buttons as well as the
V+/- buttons, ,
contained in the integrated database. The functions of the selected button are
then completely or partially overwritten with the new codes.

Place the Assist HomeCinema and the required remote control
together in such a way that the infrared windows face each other at a
distance of 1-5 cm (see sketch).

Press the TV, STB, DVD or AUDIO button and at the same
time press the STOP button for 5 seconds.
The LED above the button for the unit flashes twice.
Enter the code 81 for the TV button or the code 18 for the
STB, DVD or AUDIO buttons.
The LED above the selected button flashes twice.
Press the TV, STB, DVD or AUDIO button and at the
same time press the red button for 5 seconds.
The LED above the button for the unit (e.g. TV) lights up
permanently.
On the Assist HomeCinema press the button to be
taught.
The LED above the button for the unit (e.g. TV) flashes.
Place the two remote controls opposite each other as
shown in the sketch above.
On the original remote control press the button which is
to be taught.
The LED above the button for the unit (e.g. TV) flashes
twice.
If the code is not correctly recognised, the LED above the
button for the unit (e.g. TV) flashes ten times. Then
repeat your entry on the original remote control. If
necessary correct the allocation of the two remote
controls. Continue with the other buttons as described
above.
To end the teaching mode, press the button for the unit
(e.g. TV) again.

After 10 seconds without an entry the teaching mode
is automatically terminated.

It is possible that not all remote control codes can be
taught.
