INSTALLING THE CAMERA
The VISIDOM ICM100 camera has been designed to be easily installed in an indoor
environment, close to a Wi-Fi network. It is important to check the range of the
Wi-Fi network before mounting the camera. The camera can also be connected to the internet via
an Ethernet cable plugged directly into an internet hub, or to a home network using a powerline, for
example.

Screw the antenna onto the connector on the back of the camera to obtain the optimal Wi-Fi range.
Installation recommendations:
•
The camera must be positioned close to a mains socket.
•
The camera must be positioned at a reasonable distance from the ADSL router/hub or a repeater
to ensure that the camera has optimum Wi-Fi reception and transmission. It is recommended
that the Wi-Fi network quality is checked with a smartphone or tablet to ensure that a signal
can be detected close to the location chosen for positioning the camera. If necessary, it is also
possible to use the camera with an RJ45 Ethernet cable connection, plugged directly into the
ADSL hub/router or a powerline socket.
If using a powerline, it is recommended that sockets with a minimum throughput of 200 mbps are
used.
The DID number given on the back of the camera allows it to be identified over the internet. As a
security measure, we recommend that the DID sticker is removed and affixed to these instructions
.

Connect the mains power adapter to the connector on the back of the camera. Then connect the
mains power adapter to a power socket. (Fig. 4)
► After approximately 40 seconds, the indicator light flashes and the camera rotates.

aMera ParaMeter setting
The VISIDOM ICM100 camera can be configured to be recognised by the smartphone or tablet in two
different ways:
•
Rapid parameter setting with the camera's provisional Wi-Fi network.
•
Parameter setting with the camera connected to the residence's network via an Ethernet
cable.
For the camera to be recognised by the smartphone (or tablet), they must both be connected to the
same internet network during parameter setting.
