4 - Wait as long as you want the shutter to remain open before the automatin closing
(excluded by DIP3 OFF).
5 - Push the button PROG. to command the shutter closing, also the pause time count
before the automatic closing stops - max. 5 minutes (the LED DL1 stops flashing). On
triggering of close stoke end switch, the fence stops.
6 - AT THE END OF THE PROGRAMMING PUT THE DIP 2 BACK ON OFF. DURING THE
PROGRAMMING THE SAFETIES ARE ACTIVE AND THEIR INTERVENTION STOPS THE
PROGRAMMING (THE LED DL1 WHICH WAS LIGHTENING NOW HAS A COSTANT
LIGHT). TO REPEAT THE PROGRAMMING SET THE DIP 2 ON OFF), CLOSE THE DOOR
FOLLOWING THE PROCEDURE "C - CHECKING THE ROTATION DIRECTION OF THE
MOTOR" AND REPEAT THE PROGRAMMING DESCRIBED ABOVE.
F - RADIO CODE LEARNING PROCEDURE (CRX MODELS ONLY)
The position of the door does not affetc the code memorisation.
1 - Set DIP 1 - ON and subsequently DIP 2 - ON => DL1 programming led will lighten for
10 seconds, witch is the time required for they code's programming.
2 - Following code setting through DIPs inside the remote control, repress the remote control
button (normally the A channel) within the 10 set seconds. If the remote control is
correctly matched, the DL2 green led flashes shortly.
3 - The codes' programming time is automatically renewed to read in the following remote
control.
4 - To end the programming wait 10 seconds, or press for a while the PROG. button =>
DL1 programming led will stop lightening.
5 - Re-set DIP 1 - OFF and DIP 2 - OFF.
RADIO CODES CANCELLATION PROCEDURE
The position of the door does not affetc the code memorisation.
1 - Set DIP 1 - ON and subsequently DIP2 - ON => DL1 programming led will lighten with
a frequency of 1 sec. ON and 1 sec. OFF for 10 seconds.
2 - During the 10 seconds => press and keep pressed the PROG. Button for 6 seconds =>
the memory cancellation is signalled by two flashings of the DL2 green Led.
3 - Subsequently DL1 programming led stays active and it is possible to add new codes
following the procedures described above.
4 - Re-set DIP 1 - OFF and DIP 2 - OFF.
MEMORY SATURATION SIGNALING
The position of the door does not affect the code memorisation.
1 - By setting DIP 1 - ON and subsequently DIP 2 -ON.
2 - DL2 green Led lightens for 6 times thus signalling that the memory is full (60 codes
available).
3 - Subsequently the DL1 programming led stays active for 10 seconds,
thus enabling the possible total cancellation of the codes.
4 - Re-set DIP 1 - OFF and DIP 2 - OFF.
OPERATION OF THE OPERATING ACCESSORIES
ATTENTION: ONLY IMPULSIVE COMMANDS HAVE TO BE CONNECTED.
Make sure that any other type of command accessories (e.g. mass detectors)
used on the installation are set in the IMPULSIVE mode, otherwise, the rolling
shutter will be operated even without the protection of the safety devices.
OPERATION BUTTON (COM-K BUTTON)
If DIP6 is ON => It cyclically commands open-stop-close-stop-open-etc.
If DIP6 is OFF => It opens the door when this is closed. If it is operated while the door
is opening, it has no effect. If it is operated when the door is open, it
closes the door and, if it is operated while the door Is closing, it opens
the door again.
CLOCK FUNCTION
If you want the Clock Function must request J with firmware 02.
ATTENTION: A CLOCK CONNECTED TO J with fw 03 or more ACTIVATES THE
AUTOMATIC MOVEMENT OF THE AUTOMATION WITHOUT HAVING THE PROTECTION
OF THE SAFETY DEVICES!
The Clock Function is useful In the rush hours, when vehicle traffic is slow (e.g. entry/exit of
workers, emergencies In residential or parking areas and, temporary, for removals).
CLOCK FUNCTION APPLICATION
It is necessary to request a J control panel with firmware 02.
Select the automatic functioning DIP 6 OFF.
By connecting a switch and/or a daily/weekly timer (in place or in parallel with the opening
button N.O. "COM-K BUTTON"), it is possible to open the automation or to keep It open, as
long as the switch is on or the timer is activated.
When the automation is open, all operating functions are inhibited.
On switch release, or at set time, the actuator will close.
RADIO TRANSMITTER
If DIP6 is ON =>
It cyclically commands open-stop-close-stop-open-etc.
If DIP6 is OFF =>
It opens the door when this is closed. If it is operated while the door
is opening, it has no effect. If it is operated when the door is open,
it closes. If it is operated while the door is closing, it opens the door
again.
SAFETY ACCESSORIES OPERATION
PHOTOCELL (COM-PHOT.) DIP4
If DIP 4 is OFF => The door does not open if there is an obstacle within the photocells range
of action. During operation, photocells work both when the door opens
(by starting the opening movement again after half a second time), and
when it closes (by starting the reverse movement after one second time).
If DIP 4 is ON => If there is an obstacle within the photocells range of action when the
door is closed and its opening is commanded, the door opens (during its
opening, photocells do not work). Photocells work only while the door is
closing (by starting its reverse motion after one second, even if they are
still engaged).
NOTE: in case this line is not used, bridge the contacts COM-PHOT.
SAFETY STRIP (EDGE - COM)
During the opening it's not active.
During the closure, if committed, reverses the opening movement.
If during the closing acts for a second time, running a small reversion of 1 second and signals
the alarm of fails or involved safety strip (contact NO).
If the safety strip is engaged (NO contact), the movement is allowed only with man present
(see section FUNCTIONING IN DEAD MAN MODE WHEN THE SAFETY DEVICES ARE
FAILING).
In case the safety strip is not installed, this contact must be short circuited with a wire
jump (from EDGE to COM) to permit the shutter
to operate.
PAY ATTENTION: it is highly recommended to check safety-strips operation at least
every 6 months.
SAFETY STRIP ALLARM
If after the first safety strip obstacle detection, the safety strip is released
and then engaged again before the end of the shutter travelling, the shutter interrupts any
movement and this alarm state will be signalled by the Blinker or by the courtesy light for 1
minute together with DL1 programming light that will blink every 4 seconds.
The normal shutter operations can be restored by pressing any push button or radio
commands.
TESTING THE SAFETY STRIP equipment (DIP7 ON)
The DIP7 ON enables the Test of safety strip equipment.
The Test is performed every time the shutter completes a full opening.
It is suitable only if the safety strip device is equipped with a dedicated power supply input.
In fact, the safety strip equipment power supply input has to be connected to the A+TEST
and A- outputs (DIP7 ON).
Automatically, every time the shutter completes a full opening, just before closing, the control
board switches OFF the A+TEST and A- power supply output for a very short time.
While the safety strip power supply is switched OFF, if everything is working fine the safety
strip contact (EDGE - COM) must open.
In case the test fails, no other gate manoeuvre will be allowed and the alarm state will be
signalled by the blinker or by the courtesy light that will remain on.
NOT ALL THE SAFETY STRIPS CAN BE TESTED, THUS THE SWITCH DIP7 MUST BE LEFT OFF.
FUNCTIONING IN DEAD MAN MODE WHEN THE SAFETY DEVICES ARE FAILING
If the safety edge fails or remains engaged for more than 5 seconds, or if photocell fails or
remain engaded for more than 60 seconds, the K BUTTON command will work only in dead
man mode.
The signal that this mode has been activated is given by the blinking of the programming led.
With the blinking of the programming led, the opening and closing operation are allowed only
with the command button pressed and held.
The radio commands and that of automatic closing, will be excluded, since their use in this
mode, is not allowed by the norms.
