Detergent metering with time limit (relay-output SP1)
Automatic detergent metering is activated by the relay output SP1 and is limited by the
maximum metering time. The maximum metering time is set in PARAMETER FUNCTIONS
under ALARM CONTROL SETUP (see chapter 7.3.4).
When relay SP1 is switched on, this is indicated by a ▲ left of the 1 at the upper left hand
corner of the display.
Detergent metering starts if:
- the conductivity control is activated by closing the metering enable input and a
concentration that is too low is measured (actual value < rated value SP1).
Detergent metering stops when:
- the measured conductivity value has exceeded the switching threshold of SP1
- pre-metering starts
- the metering enable input is open
- the product storage container is empty
Display: NO DETERGENT CHANGE CONTAINER,
fault message output active
- the rated value could not be achieved despite additional metering of detergent and the
selected maximum metering time has expired.
Display: NO DETERGENT CHECK METERING,
fault message output active
The NO DETERGENT CHECK METERING message is displayed when the metering time
limit has expired The controller output "SP1" is blocked and an external fault message is
generated at the same time. Press any key to confirm the display and the fault message
and release the metering again.
NOTE
Factory setting of switch function:
SP1 relay on if actual value < limit value SP1
It is possible to invert the switch functions under INVERT SWITCH in the
CONFIGURATION FUNCTIONS menu (see chapter 7.4.5).
5.6
Relay-output SP2
The relay output SP2 is controlled by the freely adjustable limit value SP2.
It operates independently of SP1. The limit value SP2 can be used for other functions
(e.g. message for concentration overrun)
Factory setting of switch function: SP2 relay on if actual value > limit value SP2:
NOTE
It is possible to invert the switch functions under INVERT SWITCH in the
CONFIGURATION FUNCTIONS menu (see chapter 7.4.5).
5.7
Relay-output alarm message
The relay output alarm message is used to connect an acoustic and/or an optical alarming
device. The relay output is activated for all alarms and can be confirmed by pressing any
key.
An alarm repeat time can be set (set to OFF in the factory) under ALARM CONTROL
SETUP in the PARAMETER FUNCTIONS menu.
If this function is activated, after pressing the confirmation key and expiry of the selected
time for a repeat alarm, the relay output alarm message will be reactivated until the fault is
remedied.
