Operation
Lighting Presse the knob in for a few seconds
Place a flame close to the burner
Keep the knob pressed in for a few more seconds
The burner will then remain lit, now adjust the appliance to the setting required.
There is an in-built double safety feature :
If one of the points of the burners is blown out by a draught of air, the star located at the centre
of the burners acts as a flame spreader towards the points which have gone out (patented
system). This may occur during operation on the low flame setting.
A thermocouple cuts off the gas supply if one of the burners goes out.
The appliance has a factory-adjusted low flame setting.
