Instructions and warranty

USE OF THE BAGS
1) Before each use, clean carefully the device following the instructions given in paragraph "Cleaning
and maintenance".
2) Place the device on a flat and stiff surface and leave the working area in front of the device free of
hindrances, as well as enough space to allow the leaning of the bags with the food to be packaged.
3) Connect the device to an outlet meeting the rating plate data indicated on the bottom of the device.
Verify that the warning lights of the keys "DRY FOOD" and "VACUUM NORMAL" switch on (red
colour).
4) Insert homogeneously the food to be preserved in the bag. Verify that the length of the bag is 8
cm greater than that of the food to be preserved.
5) Lift the cover.
6) Place the open end of the bag within the suction chamber as shown in figure 2 with the smooth
part downwards. Make sure that the inner part of the bag where the sealing will be performed is
clean and free of any food particle.
The bag must be well stretched and without folds.
7) Lower the cover and firmly press with both hands on the two sides of the cover, hooking the two
locking levers at the bottom of the device (until you hear a "click").
8) Now, the cover is closed. With a hand press on the cover and with the other one press first of all
the "AUTOMATIC/STOP" key to start the operation cycle and then keep the cover pressed down.
The warning light of the "AUTOMATIC/STOP" key turns on (red): the device is performing the
suction. After 3-4 seconds remove both hands from the cover.
Then, the warning light of the "SEAL" key (blue) turns on: the device is now performing the sealing.
Wait for few seconds and when the warning lights of the keys "AUTOMATIC/STOP" and "SEAL"
turn off, press the two cover opening buttons.
9) Verify the bag sealing and store in the fridge, freezer or larder.
It is possible to select the device suction power and sealing time according to the food that is
being packed (see paragraph "Nomenclature and functions"). The machine is automatically set
to "DRY FOOD" and "VACUUM NORMAL".
Caution! Once suction power and sealing time have been changed, this selection remains stored
until the device is disconnected from the power outlet.
USE OF THE ROLLS
The roll allows to prepare bags in the length desired, suitable for the food to be preserved.
1) Define the length of the bag according to the length of the food to be preserved and adding at
least 8 cm; add further 2 cm for every time the bag will be reused.
2) Unroll the roll and using sharp scissors with long blades cut it to the desired length.
3) Place one of the two open ends of the bag on the sealing strip with the smooth part facing
downwards.
Caution! Do not let the bag stick out in the suction chamber or on the gasket. Make sure that
the bag is well stretched, clean and does not show any folds
4) Lower the cover and firmly press with both hands on the two sides of the cover, hooking the two
locking levers at the bottom of the device (until you hear a "click").
English
5) Now the cover is closed. With a hand press on the cover and with the other one press first of all
the "SEAL" key to start sealing automatically (the warning light of the "SEAL" key turns on: blue
colour) and then keep the cover pressed.
After 3-4 seconds remove both hands from the cover. When the warning light of the "SEAL" key
turns off, press the two cover opening buttons.
6) Verify the bag sealing.
7) Proceed as described under points 4 to 9 of paragraph "INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE - USE OF THE
BAGS".
MANUAL VACUUM
It is possible to use the vacuum packing also for specifically delicate / fragile products such as
strawberries, soft fruits, bread sticks, vegetables, fish, etc. Total air suction using the automatic
mode tends to squeeze such food, spoiling it. Therefore, it is suggested to use the manual vacuum
mode in these cases.
To create vacuum manually, proceed according to paragraph "INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE - USE OF
THE BAGS" from point 1 to 7.
Press the "AUTOMATIC/STOP" key; its warning light turns on in red colour; this means that air
suction has started. Carefully observe air suction from the bag and when it is deemed suitable, stop
the vacuum process by pressing the "SEAL" key; the device will seal the bag automatically (warning
light of the "SEAL" key becomes blue). Wait for few seconds and when the warning light of the "SEAL"
key turns off, press the two cover opening buttons.
Lift the cover and verify the bag sealing.
VACUUM FOR LIQUIDS
To be able to vacuum pack liquids, it is necessary to pre-freeze them.
Place the liquid food in a suitable container, store it in the freezer for about 12-18 hours; then, remove
it from the container and insert it into a vacuum bag.
Remove the air and seal the bag as described in paragraph "Instructions for use"; then, store the bag in
the freezer. This food can be defrosted by immersing it in boiling water or using the microwave oven.
SEAL OR BAG-CLOSING FUNCTION
This device can use the bag sealing function, without necessarily creating vacuum.
It is sufficient to place the end of the bag that you wish to seal, perfectly clean and well stretched,
on the sealing strip.
Caution! Do not let the bag stick out in the suction chamber or on the gasket.
Firmly press with both hands on the two sides of the cover, hooking the two locking levers at the
bottom of the device (until you hear a "click").
Now the cover is closed. Press the "SEAL" key to start sealing automatically (warning light of the
"SEAL" key becomes blue). Wait for few seconds and when the warning light of the "SEAL" key turns
off, press the two cover opening buttons.
Verify the bag sealing.
