Terminal
Description
1 + 2
Connection for operating voltage 12 - 16 V/DC. Ensure that at least a current of 1.5 A is
available.
Terminal clamp 1 (+), terminal clamp 2 (-).
Terminal clamp 2 also serves as ground reference point (-) for terminal clamps 3, 4, 5 and 6.
3 + 2
This terminal clamp continually delivers +12 V/DC.
We recommend using this clamp to supply voltage to motion detector, smoke detector or
certain glass breakage sensors that require permanent voltage supply.
The max. current intake of the device to be connected must not exceed 750 mA.
No alarm: Voltage +12 V/DC
4 + 2
At alarm: Powered down
We recommend using these clamps for operation of a special signalling device combination.
Practical function: A signalling device combination is an independent system with an integ-
rated buffer battery. The buffer battery of the signalling device combination is permanently
charged at this connection.
If the centre triggers an alarm or if the alarm centre voltage supply is deactivated, this output
switches off the +12 V/DC. The signalling device combination recognises this and signals it
with a visual and acoustic alarm. The signalling device combination is now supplied with
voltage from its integrated buffer battery. The alarm stops after the time set in the signalling
device combination while the visual signal remains active until terminal clamp 4 is once
more connected to a voltage potential.
The max. current intake of the device to be connected must not exceed 1,500 mA.
5 + 2
No alarm: Powered down
At alarm: Voltage +12 V/DC for the alarm duration set (determined with the jumper "ALARM
DURATION (MINUTES)").
Suitable for connection of acoustic/visual signalling devices.
The max. current intake of the device to be connected must not exceed 1,500 mA.
6 + 2
This terminal clamp continually delivers +12 V/DC (identical to terminal clamp 3).
7 + 6
This terminal clamp can be used, e.g. to connect a key switch (button function). This can be
used to activate/deactivate the system. Up to 4 key switches can be connected in parallel.
Observe that the connected key switch has a button function.
8 + 6
The function is identical with the "ZONE STATUS" LED and the "BATTERY STATUS" LED of
the alarm system.
9 + 6
The function is identical with the "SYSTEM STATUS" LED of the alarm system.
A 1kOhm dropping resistor is required (not included in the delivery).
