Danger From Rechargeable Batteries and chargers
❐ caution! Do not expose the battery and the device to high temperatures.
For example, do not leave it lying in the sun for too long.
❐ Only use rechargeable batteries and chargers that are recommended by
the manufacturer and are specifically designed for the mobile phone. In-
compatible batteries and chargers may damage the mobile phone.
❐ Ensure that the battery is positioned correctly when you insert it.
❐ If a battery has leaked, do not allow your skin, eyes and mucous mem-
branes to come into contact with the battery acid. If you touch battery
acid, rinse the affected sites with abundant fresh water immediately and
contact a doctor as soon as possible.
❐ Remove dead batteries from the device to avoid damaging it.
❐ The battery or charger must not be taken apart, thrown into a fire, im-
mersed in liquids or short-circuited.
❐ Do not place batteries or the device on a cooking or heating device, e. g.
microwave oven, stove or radiator. The rechargeable batteries may over-
heat and explode.
❐ Do not crush or puncture the rechargeable battery. Avoid exposing the
battery to high pressure, as this may cause an internal short-circuit and
overheating.
❐ Never use a charger or rechargeable battery if it has been damaged.
