Fitting instructions
1)
Remove the rear bumper, loosening it from its rubber fittings. Loosen and remove the heat shield.
2)
Permanently remove the metal buffer beam at the rear of the vehicle.
3)
Position the tow bar with the carrying arms into the chassis with the points (A) matching over the holes in
de sides of the chassis. Place the mounting piece (-e) on the outside of the chassis. Affix the bolts and
tighten everything firmly.
4)
Before replacing the bumper, first make a cut-away in the bottom centre of the bumper, measuring 20mm
from the lower edge over a width of 50mm. Re-install the bumper and replace the heat shield and the
exhaust.
5)
Assemble (*) and tighten everything firmly.

Note
Please consult your cardealer or owners manual for the maximal permissable towing mass.
Remove any bitumen coating on the fastening position for the tow bar.
When drilling, be carefull not to damage any brake lines, electrical wiring or fuel lines.
