CHARGING THE APPLIANCE

1. If using the appliance in cordless mode, it must be charged for at least 24 hours before the first use to ensure that the
batteries are fully charged.
2. Charging time is normally 6 hours.
3. Ensure that the selector switch is set to "O" (OFF) before recharging. Connect the appliance to the recharging unit
and connect the adapter to the power socket. The indicator will light up. Before using the appliance, disconnect the
recharging unit from the power source.
USING THE APPLIANCE WITH THE ADAPTER
1. The appliance can also operate directly from the mains using the adapter supplied, if the batteries are empty. Use only
the adapter supplied.
2. Connect the adapter to the appliance and connect the adapter to the power socket.
3. If using the adapter when the batteries are empty, the appliance will take 30 seconds to operate at full output again.
4
