This tester has been designed and tested in accordance with the safety
standards in force, in particular IEC/EN 61010-1 and EN 50081-1/EN 50082-1.
However, we strongly recommend you read the following operating & safety
instructions.
We recommend you read this section before setting up the tester.
We cannot be held liable for any damage caused by handling or use that does
not comply with the operating instructions set forth in this user's manual.
- comply with the operating conditions: temperature, humidity, degree of
pollution, etc
- before carrying out measurements, check that the resistance to be checked is
not live: never connect the instrument to a live circuit
-
the maximum direct voltage that can be inadvertently applied to the potential
and current inputs is 10.7 VDC. Beyond this value, the respective fuses will have
to be replaced.
- use only the accessories supplied with the instrument, compliant with safety
standards.
- before carrying out measurements, check that the measurement leads are in
good condition and that their insulation is not defective (insulation cut, burned,
etc.). Replace any faulty or defective leads before carrying out measurements.
- check that none of the terminals is connected and that the switch is set to the
OFF position before opening the instrument
- use only recommended fuse types and ratings; failure to do so may damage
the instrument and render the warranty void.
- set the switch to OFF when the instrument is not in use.
- any repairs and metrological checks must be carried out by qualified approved
personnel.
- before carrying out a measurement, check that the switch is set to the
appropriate measurement position and the cables are correctly connected for
that position.
This instrument must be used only by qualified personnel trained for this
type of measurement and aware of the applicable safety procedures.

This equipment is covered by a 12-month warranty against defects in materials or
workmanship, in accordance with the general terms and conditions of sale.
During the warranty period, the apparatus may be repaired only by the
manufacturer, who reserves the right either to proceed with repairs or to replace
all or part of the instrument. In the case of equipment being returned to the
manufacturer, forward transport is paid by the customer. The warranty does not
apply in the following cases:
1. improper use of the apparatus or use in association with incompatible
equipment
2. modification of the equipment without the explicit authorisation of the
manufacturer's technical staff
3. repairs carried out by a person not approved by the manufacturer
4. adaptation to a particular application not intended by the instrument's design
specifications or by the user's manual
5. impact, fall, or flooding.
As with all measuring and testing instruments, periodic checking of this apparatus is
necessary.

From time to time, clean your tester using a damp cloth and soapy water. Do not
use abrasive materials or products containing solvents.
