Switching on/off

The speed can be smoothly adjusted with
the on/off switch (
press the on/off switch, the higher the
speed.
1. To start the device, press and
hold the safety switch (1) and
press the on/off switch (2).
2. To stop the device, release the

Turning the laser on and off

Press the laser/work light switch (17) to
turn the laser on or off. The laser/work
light switch (17) also turns the LED work
lamp on and off.

Adjusting the mitre angle

1. Loosen the screw (27) with the
Allen key (21).
2. Set the bottom plate (11) to the
desired position (0° - 45°). The-
re are 4 levels, each adjustable
by 15 degrees on either side
(0/15/30 and 45 degrees).
Make sure that the recesses of
the notches (9) fit into the guide
(28).
3. Tighten the screw (27) with the
Allen key (21). The Allen key (21)
can be stored on the device as
shown in the diagram.

Adjusting the hub strength

The pendulum movement of the
saw blade can be adjusted with the
pendulum stroke switch (8). There
are 4 positions for the pendulum
stroke switch (8):

0 - no stroke
1 - low stroke
2 - medium stroke
3 - high stroke
The optimal stroke strength can be es-
tablished through practice; the following
settings are recommended:
• Fine and clean cutting edges can be
achieved with little or no pendulum
motion (level 1 or 0).
• For thin material, hard material (e.g.
steel) and for cutting curves, use level
0 also.
• Soft material (wood, plastic, etc.): Set
the pendulum to level II or III.
With the pendulum stroke activated
you can work much faster.

Plunge cuts

Plunge cuts may only be made in soft
materials such as wood, aerated concre-
te, plasterboard, etc. However, this requi-
res a certain amount of practice and is
possible only with short saw blades.
Plunge cuts are only allowed if the mitre
angle is 0°.
1. Place the saw on the workpiece
and switch it on.
2. Make sure that the bottom edge
of the bottom plate rests on
the surface of the workpiece as
shown in Fig.
3. Slowly saw at an angle into the
workpiece, then bring the saw
into a vertical position and con-
tinue sawing along the cutting
line.
4. Turn off the saw and lift it off the
workpiece after finishing work.
